Now that everyone is switching over to SSL it would be nice if MESSENGER_HTML_IN could redirect SSL ports (if this is even possible).

We thought about it at the time we introduced the feature. The main issue is that an end-user will be presented with a mismatched certificate in their browser for the connection which is unavoidable. This could end up causing even more confusion. Technically, it's straightforward to introduce, but I'm not sure of how effective it would be due to the cert problems.

I knew there was probably a reason that it wasn't implemented. I can't think of an easy way to get around the SSL warning. Thanks for the explanation
