Re: First time ever CXS rule is not working, why?
Hi Sergio,
By default cxs will not scan files outside the users public_html directory, so unless you have disabled this limitation (by removing --www or unchecking the option in the wizards) then it will not be scanning those files at all.

Sarah

Re: Service Failure Issues
If there are no errors in the script logs then it may be something external that is killing the processes, which you'll need to investigate. Have you installed any third party script that may be configured to terminate other processes? Feel free to log a ticket on the helpdesk if you'd like assistan...

Re: Service Failure Issues
What are you seeing in the actual application logs themselves, i.e. cxswatch.log, lfd.log, osmd.log? They generally provide more useful information.

Re: MailScanner Failed after update
Do you see anything helpful in /var/log/maillog? Have you tried reinstalling from scratch or force reinstalling from the WHM MSFE UI? If that doesn't work please log a ticket on the helpdesk and we'll try to help.

<r>You can't do that with the MailScanner Front-End. Your best bet would be to write your own spamassassin rules (see <URL url="https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/spamassassin/WritingRules"><LINK_TEXT text="https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/dis ... itingRules">https://cwiki.apache.org/con...

Re: CloudLinux 9.3 - whm
Cloudlinux 9 is experimental for cPanel at the moment so we have not yet implemented support for it. In the meantime you can restart csf and lfd via the command line.

Re: Please add the SUBJECT COUNT into MSFE statistics, please.
Since MailScanner/MSFE as we implement it is aimed at filtering incoming emails, this is not a feature we are likely to add to it. Outgoing Spam Monitor is designed for this very purpose.

Re: usage question
You should do any editing of the spam whitelist and blacklist via the MSFE, not directly editing the rules files. Any changes made to the rules files in /usr/mailscanner/etc/rules/ will be overwritten by the MSFE script. You can find the current server blacklists and whitelists in the MailScanner Fr...
