Regarding:
"but you should put any changes to scores etc. in /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf"
Is this (7 year old) advice still good?
It seems that the rules we've established in local.cf at the above location, are no longer taking effect.
Thanks.

Getting "invalid port/service error" for port 80
Not sure what to look for here. Upon restarting CSF in shell, I am getting this error near the bottom of the output: *ERROR* line:[2036] Command:[/sbin/iptables -v -A INPUT ! -i lo -p tcp --dport "80 -m state --state NEW -m recent --set --name "80] Error:[iptables v1.4.7: invalid port/serv...

Re: Command line equivalent for...
I think I am getting very close with the following command: exiqgrep -i|xargs exim -Mrm `grep -lr 'popularfastloans.com' /var/spool/exim/input | sed -e 's/^.*\/\([a-zA-Z0-9-]*\)-[DH]$/\1/g'` 2> /dev/null But oddly, this seems to work on the Pending Queue, but not the Delivery Queue. What's the trick...

Re: Command line equivalent for...
Possible? I am looking for the same kind of command line equivalent that can easily be generated with your other utility, eXploit Scanner, i.e. Generate CXS Commands. Except in this case I am not look for a front end feature like that, but more of a way to assemble a command line that contains the o...

Command line equivalent for...
What would be the command line equivalent for the following?
Delivery Queue
From does contain ".link"
Delete Emails
Thanks so much, coming up with a command line (where I could use different "contain" items) would literally save me hours per week.

Re: Updating ClamAV, never completes.
Update - We just got word that this version ClamAV was pulled by the developer, thus the reason for the issue as described. See:

Re: Updating ClamAV, never completes.
We don't see a clamav failed notice, just an endless procession of "Retrieving ClamAV tarball" entries. This also happens on every server. I've tried temporarily disabling CSF firewall, fearing that we were blocking the connection to Sourceforge, but this did not help. I've also tried doin...

large amount of data in /var/spool/MailScanner/incoming
We are starting to see a large amount of data in:
/var/spool/MailScanner/incoming
... which is eating up valuable space in /var
Question - Can I just move the /incoming directory to /home, and then symlink it from /var/spool/MailScanner/ ?

Re: Adding rules to spamassassin/configserver.cf have no eff
Also, I found instructions to run the following after making a rule change to check for errors:
spamassassin --lint
But this does not work at shell. I've searched for a spamassassin binary, so that I may run this command, but can find none.
