The server load is non existent yet when I click in mailwatch to see the details about a certain message it hangs for at least 15 seconds before showing the results
the top 3 lines show right away its the rest of the page that hangs

I've been having problems with the clamd socket staying put on a Centos 3 box. The socket will sporadically become a directory, clamd will fail and I will have to reinstall. When you try to restart it tells me this:

Just started happening out-of-the-blue on one of our servers. Others are fine. We are running the following on all servers, with the latest version of the config server MailScanner package.
I've got a server that's shutting down nightly at two am and I'm trying to track down the cause. I found this in the mailed logs and am wondering if you could tell me whether any of the statements are cause for concern or whether they are safe to be ignored.

What causes mail to skip being checked by MailScanner? I do not have a high load server (currently: 0.08 0.18 0.15 - for example).
Here's my MS report from yesterday. Notice how many were forwarded unscanned. I'd like to configure my server in such a way that very few, if any, messages are skipped.

While Mailscanner is successfully blocking all kinds of unacceptable attachements, it is trying to notify the sender by returning the following type of message:

I appreciate that much of the resources available are free but having looked through the information in the Install.txt and Readme.txt files I'm painfully aware that there are a number of ambiguities that aren't covered.

A few months ago, I had ConfigServer install MailScanner for me. It worked great. Well I had some firewall concerns so I had them install CFG. Well ever since the CFG install, ClamAV and MySQL kept failing. My server support team fixed my SQL issue. Mail still worked but I was still getting the ClamAV error.

I have the following question: Is it possible to set up server wide spam filtering rules?
For example on our server we are getting a lot of spam with the line Win, win with us - our cool casino.. in the message text. These messages can be filtered out on an account by account basis using the account level filtering in Cpanel, but it would be very useful to be able to do this also server wide....
The last couple of times I have updated MS on one older RH/CentOS box I have gotten this error, but things seemed to chug along and I left it alone. I would like to bump it off the server now. Here's the error:
