Since 7/3 one of my servers has reported the same error when tryingto update

Unable to connect to configserver.com at this time: Died

Now running ConfigServer Security & Firewall - csf v2.79 - so its a ways behind

I wasnt worried about one or 2 errors - figured they were timeouts - but 5 times in a row...

Any ideas ?

still unable to do automated updates ....

Upgrade manually. The latest versions upgrade using direct http access, the older uses wget which may not be working as expected for some reason.

It was able to get to 2.83 just before the CP11 upgrade, then it started spitting the same error since then. Ill see what happens today.

odd thing is that one server works fine "csf is already at the latest version: v2.83"

the other is generating the error

"Unable to connect to configserver.com at this time: Died"

Well it updated just now - so it seems to be working
