Unable to run /usr/sbin/csf -u command

Hi There,
CSF seems to have lost its functionality. When I try an update it outputs

/usr/sbin/csf: line 1: ?php: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/csf: line 2: syntax error near unexpected token `'_VALID_MOS''
/usr/sbin/csf: line 2: `if( ! defined( '_VALID_MOS' ) && ! defined( '_JEXEC' ) )'

I am assuming I need to re-install CSF, if so how do I re-install without losing the configuration settings?

Any advice would be appreciated.

That suggests that something has replaced the symlink to csf.pl in /usr/sbin. You can just install using the install instructions. Any settings will be preserved.

Hi There,
I ran the commands as per this page: http://configserver.com/free/csf/install.txt
and unfortunately the same thing is happening. It has upgraded to the latest version but the same error is occurring.

Something else to note is that I have pretty much lost all functionality of ConfigServer Firewall as I cannot remove/add blocked IP's. I have unfortunately been adding IP's to the iptables manually.
