CSF blocks my sites and all Upbuntu updates once it is enabled

Post by sunblast »

After making all needed updates in my Ubuntu 20.04 server and restarting it through WHM I was not able to access the hosted sites(they are not propagating) and I was not able to check for Ubuntu updates through apt-get update.
The configuration of the csf v14.20 was unchanged and before the restart it was working perfectly.
My port settings are the following:
TCP_IN = 20,21,22,25,53,80,110,143,443,465,587,853,993,995,2077,2078,2079,2080,2082,2083,2086,2087,2095,2096,49152:65534,8443
TCP_OUT = 20,21,22,25,37,43,53,80,110,113,443,587,853,873,993,995,2086,2087,2089,2703
UDP_IN =20,21,53,80,443,853
UDP_OUT =20,21,53,113,123,853,873,6277,24441
TCP6_IN =20,21,22,25,53,80,110,143,443,465,587,853,993,995,2077,2078,2082,2083,2086,2087,2095,2096,8443
TCP6_OUT =20,21,22,25,37,43,53,80,110,113,443,587,853,873,993,995,2086,2087,2089,2703
UDP6_IN = 20,21,53,80,443
UDP6_OUT =20,21,53,113,123,873,6277,24441

Also there no other firewalls installed on the system. The only plugin that is installed is the ImunifyAV without the firewall.

Can you please help me on this because I cannot find a solution?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I managed to fix it by backing up my configuration and re-installing the firewall. It probably had to do with the Kernel update. After thoroughly searching for solutions, this was my final verdict.
