Cloudflare Firewall Rules API Deprecation and CSF Integration

Post by nufanweb »

Hello,

Not sure if this is a bug or issue:

I saw the notice posted below indicating Cloudflare Firewall Rules (API) being deprecated.
https://developers.cloudflare.com/waf/r ... tom-rules/

Will the deprecation of the Cloudflare "Firewall Rules" API impact the integration of CSF’s Cloudflare IP blocking feature? ( I am not sure if that deprecation affects the IP "access_rules" portion of the API )

The Cloudflare blocking feature has been immensely appreciated, and I hope it will continue to function.

Thank you for all the hard work your team has put into this.

( If this isn't a issue / bug please move to the correct forum or delete. )

Well to follow up on my original post.

From what I could gather with my limited knowledge, it seems that the access rules API (assuming CSF uses this) (https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/o ... cess-rules) is not currently marked as deprecated in the Cloudflare API documentation provided above.

Perhaps that reference to deprecation was just relating specifically to the 'Firewall Rules' portion of their API?

If so, feel free to delete this thread.
