Error on spam learn

MailWatch worked just fine for a long time, but recently when I use reports, mark something as spam and tell it ti "learn" I get back error messages like these:
Message 1J3EjM-0005n2-9s not found in quarantine
and I assume it has not in fact learned.
What causes this, and what is the fix?
